Greek Salad

 Greek Salad (Horiatiki)

Greek Salad (Horiatiki) is a traditional Mediterranean dish made with fresh, simple ingredients native to Greece. It typically includes ripe tomatoes, crisp cucumbers, red onions, green bell peppers, Kalamata olives, and a thick slice of feta cheese, all drizzled with extra virgin olive oil and sprinkled with oregano. Unlike many Western salads, it contains no lettuce and relies on the natural flavors of the vegetables and cheese. This salad is refreshing, healthy, and often served as a side dish or a light meal, especially during the warm summer months.
