Aperol Spritz Recipe
The Aperol Spritz is a classic Italian cocktail known for its bright orange color, refreshing taste, and balanced mix of bitter-sweet Aperol, crisp Prosecco, and sparkling soda water. Served over ice with a slice of orange, it’s light, bubbly, and perfect as an aperitif before meals.
Ingredients
- 3 parts Prosecco (about 90 ml / 3 oz)
- 2 parts Aperol (about 60 ml / 2 oz)
- 1 part soda water (about 30 ml / 1 oz)
- Ice cubes
- 1 slice of orange (for garnish)
How to Make It
- Fill a large wine glass generously with ice cubes.
- Pour in the Prosecco first (this keeps the bubbles fresh).
- Add the Aperol slowly.
- Top with a splash of soda water.
- Stir gently once or twice to mix (don’t over-stir).
- Garnish with a slice of orange on the rim or in the drink.
